H243 : DinkyWayne School Bus 949

I identified this as the Continental Coach but as it had red interior it has to be the Wayne School Bus. The chassis was already removed but the pillars needed grinding down to a flat surface allowing a drill to be centered. The pillars allow very little error so much care is needed. See the detail, with care drilled 5/64 and tapped 4-40 thread. The chassis was stripped of paint to reveal some bad rust spots. These I ground out and with two good primer coats most of the damage does not show. The paint was striped and small repairs made. The interior was refinished in deep blue and the standard yellow for the bodywork. Windows and interior cleaned and no ready for decals and detail painting.
